All up-to-date Meetings, Events, and Playdates are posted on our Public Facebook Page:

You do not have to have a Facebook account to access details on these events.

Monthly Meetings are always free and open to the public for anyone interested in learning about babywearing! We have demos and explanations about the basic types of carriers, general how-to and safety, offer one-on-one assistance, and provide a place of community for babywearers to come together. All skill levels are welcome! Please bring your own carriers if you would like help, or to share with the group! The monthly meeting is also when we open our lending library to members to check out and return carriers. For more information about becoming a member and taking advantage of our lending library, please check the lending library tab above.

Play Dates are social events where we come together to spend time with other like-minded families, while babywearing! They are open to the public and are usually free unless the location requires a fee for parking and/or admittance.

Workshops are get togethers where a Volunteer Babywearing Educator (VBE) will be available for assistance and help with any babywearing related questions and concerns.

    • Hey Rebecca. Thank you for your patience in waiting for a response. If you would like to join us at a meeting they are on the second Tuesday and fourth Wednesday of every month from 1030-12. Our events page should now reflect these changes. Along with that, we are in the works of putting together more regular playdates, get-togethers and trainings. If you are still interested, we’d love to see you get involved!

    • At this time all of our events are through the Facebook group. However, all of our meetings will be the same through the end of the year — second Tuesday in Tierrasanta, fourth Wednesday in La Mesa. In the near future, we are looking to create a public Facebook group (which can be accessed by those who do not have Facebook accounts) so that everyone can see our events. -Kat B, Volunteer Babywearing Educator
